Overview

Motivation
This project is a redesigned kiosk UI for the National Hangeul Museum.
We redesigned the current museum's adult users focused kiosk contents so that children, the main visitors of the National Hangeul Museum, can learn Korean with interest.





Main page
Characters that actively utilize Hangeul 24 basic letters with 14 consonant letters (ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ ㅁ ㅂ ㅅ ㅇ ㅈ ㅊ ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅎ) and 10 vowel letters
(ㅏ ㅑ ㅓ ㅕ ㅗ ㅛ ㅜ ㅠ ㅡ ㅣ) are created so that users can learn the basic knowledge of Hangeul with them.
According to the contents, the main menu divided into 4 types with different color codes. Based on the colors, Hangeul characters are displayed.
Buttons appear when color blocks are clicked.

Meet Hangeul characters for the first time!
Hi Hangeul contents are easily approachable for children to learn each letter of Hangeul as well as the basic knowledge as a language system.
Let's know Hangeul
Let's know Hangeul contents are focused on history and basic grammar. Learning creation and social impact of Hangeul with Q&A form.
Q&A is designed with conversations in a way that parents and children ask and answer. A simple grammar game brings the experience of learning Morpho-syllabic blocks.

There are two games that will challenge children's memories and speed.
Both memory challenge card game and Whac-A-Mole game lead by Hangeul characters.

With Hangeul menu, visitors create their own posts that show experience in this museum. Easily take a photo and decorate it with emojis as well as drawing.
